Imigrantii din Marea Britanie nu-si vor putea aduce sotiile sau copiii daca nu au salarii de peste 18.700 de lire sterline

muncitori_constructiiComitetul de consiliere privind migraţia din Marea Britanie propune ca persoanele cu venituri anuale sub 18.700 de lire sterline să nu-şi mai poată aduce soţia sau copilul, pentru a nu împovăra mai târziu sistemul britanic de asistenţă socială.

În cazul în care propunerea se aprobă, nivelul minim actual cerut pentru vizele de familie (de 5.500 după plata taxelor), va urca la o sumă între 18.700 şi 25.700 de lire sterline, după plata impozitelor.

La un minim de 18.700 de lire sterline, 45% din vizele de familie acordate anul trecut nu ar mai fi fost eligibile. Dacă venitul minim ar fi fost de 25.700 de lire sterline, 63% din rudele care au obţinut anul trecut viză de familie nu ar mai fi ajuns în Marea Britanie.

Pentru cei care vor dori să-şi aducă soţia şi doi copii, nivelul minim de venituri anuale ar putea fi între 24.800 şi 47.600 de lire sterline.

Specialişti în migraţie sunt convinşi că măsura va fi atacată în instanţă, dacă autorităţile de la Londra o vor aplica.

Comitetul a mai recomandat şi menţinerea restricţiilor pentru românii şi bulgarii care vor să se angajeze în Regat, deşi o rezoluţie a Parlamentului European aprobată la sfârşitul lunii octombrie cere statelor din Uniune să-şi deschidă piaţa muncii pentru lucrătorii din ultimele două state integrate în UE.
