Merkel se luptă cu morile financiare germane

Cancelarul german Angela Merkel, un politician de dreapta, doreşte prosperitate şi măsuri de siguranţă socială. Fostul său aliat, şeful puternicei Deutsche Bank, Josef Ackermann, vrea şi el prosperitate, dar fără amestecul guvernului. Cândva prieteni, cei doi giganţi se află acum încleştaţi într-o bătălie în urma căreia se va decide cine e, de fapt, autoritatea în Germania.

 

Merkel îşi iese din fire extrem de rar, scrie „Der Spiegel“, dar asta i s-a întâmplat când a auzit că Ackermann cere un nou fond de ajutor pentru sectorul financiar. La fel de rar s-a întâmplat ca Merkel să atace pe cineva în mod public, după cum s-a văzut şi în campania electorală, când mai mult şi-a complimentat oponentul. Altfel au stat lucrurile cu Ackermann, pe care Merkel l-a evocat fără a-i rosti numele în discursul rostit la o conferinţă de management sponsorizată de „Suddeutsche Zeitung“.

„Există un anumit individ care lucrează în sectorul financiar şi care - ca să mă exprim blând - vorbeşte cam aiurea“, a spus ea, cu trimitere directă la directorul executiv al Deutsche Bank (DB).
